Fine 3D Artwork / Andrea Felix Gebhardt

Pass It On: Here I created data transfer tools, a C++ custom ICE node to read flow information and advect particles and also animated the bubble centerpiece. This started as a personal project with an early beta of ICE and was later adapted for the Psst!PassItOn piece. For the second shot I created the simulation software.

SUKIO / Andreas Felix Gebhardt.

"Dear visitor, welcome to Sukio, a place acting as a showcase for my work. My weapon of choice is mainly Softimage XSI, an incredible piece of 3D Software made by Avid Inc. , which I'm using since it's version 1.0. So most of the 3D artwork and technical demos you see on this site are made using it as a base for further exploration."

Focus: Research & Development, FX Programming, Shader Programming, Technical Direction, Technical Animation, Design.

Skillset: XSI, XSI C++ API, ICE, OpenGL, XSI Scripting API, Mental Ray, Novodex, Gelato, Renderman, Maya, Houdini.

Making of 'Milk' Rigging the Waves / Florian Witzel, Andreas Gebhardt

"This 'Making of Milk' demonstrates a rig for computer generated ocean and water waves used for the 'Milk' spot by Psyop. In particular the creation and animation of linear and radial waves types. The surface of the water is additionally being deformed by 'Tessendorf's Waves'. Thanks to   for importing those into Softimage XSI..".

H.R. Giger: Father of the alien

"On the 30th anniversary of his most famous creation, the artist behind the creature is still annoyed at how he was treated by Hollywood"
Read more this post by Wolfgang Dios

This sadly explains how a true artist, creator, is kept out of the showbusiness industry. No money, no credits and, what's worse snatching  his original creation, turning it into crap.
After all the only scary monster in those films is indeed the main actress
